Great family hotel

We enjoyed our stay here! It was very close to lots of shopping and dining, so we walked a lot. The indoor pool was a big hit with our kid - we swam four times during our short stay! The room had kind of an odd smell, but that's the only negative comment we could think of.

We've stayed here before. It is a half-way stopping point for a 2-day car trip that we occasionally take. Service very friendly. Rooms are older and show their age a bit, but are clean. Free breakfast is cold for most part (oatmeal, bread to toast, etc. are warm) but a descent variety and consideration for lactose-intolerant and gluten-free. Nice pool and outdoor area. Good location. City has PLENTY of great restaurants.

Very lovely and cozy place to stay and enjoy the town. The location is wonderful - a quick walk to downtown with great shops and restaurants. There's conveniently a Safeway right across the street. It was easy to find and pIenty of free parking. I loved the property and it's unique feel - not the cookie cutter corporate hotels that feel devoid of any soul. I loved the fact that they have a real, mini coffee maker with actual coffee mugs and glasses in the room. The front desk informed me the pool was saltwater and I was very pleased. We didn't come out of the water reeking of chlorine and it was more gentle on our eyes and skin. I love how they don't provide small travel bottles and have moved to a larger, permanent, refillable bottles for their bath products. A nice breakfast was provided. There is just small but thoughtful details the hotel provides that really makes a difference, including a patio with a fire pit, Harold the Hangry dragon, and a rose made out of tissue paper on our bathroom counter. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

Having a Safeway directly across the street is very convenient. Helpful and friendly guy at the front desk for check in. Actual keys instead of keycards… love it! Very comfortable beds and nice bedding. All is well.
