A hidden gem in Melbourne.

Melbourne Beach Resort & Surf club is a hidden gem with private beach access and modern/updated rooms. Amy was super helpful in checking us in early; lent us a bottle opener & wine corkscrew we forgot to bring. About the only quibble I have is that the mattresses were a bit "springy". It was adequate and on par with other hotels. Otherwise, we were very pleased with our stay. Will definitely be looking to come back.

Manger and her kid walks by your room every 5 mins til dark. Rules after rules more then my own mother. Didn’t want to stay another night. Wouldn’t give refund for 2st night. Said I was smoking iv never smoked a day in my life. It’s just a loophole for them to keep your money. defamation of character Lawsuit against them about to happen.
That was the start of rules. Be prepared to not laugh smile or have fun. Or the manager will come and try and kick you out

We had an amazing stayworkation. So happy to find a family owned place with such easy access to the ocean. Everything was brand new and you could tell that the management takes great pride in ownership. Loved having the luxury suite to go to sleep and wake up to the magical sounds of the ocean and the East Coast sunrises! We can’t wait to make this place a staple in our visits to Melbourne.

We had a fantastic time. It was myself and three other girlfriends. We booked the family suite 1 king, 1 queen, and a sofa bed. My friends were going to sleep on the queen but the springs were broken and digging in their back. Thankfully the sofa bed mattress was actually comfortable and they slept on there. Otherwise, the location was perfect.
