Great hotel but creepy site.
Amazing hotel and lovely staff. I just don’t like that this gruesome historical site is being used for entertainment purposes. It’s a creepy place with a very dark history and violent deaths inside these walls. Feels haunted. This place and these walls have some bad juju. It was the only hotel in the area and we were there for an event close by.

Really nice hotel in a unique location. Clean, modern and comfortable. Easily accessible with great public transport into Melbourne. Local shops, restaurants and bars are really good too, with a big cinema on the doorstep

Excellent facilities on site. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The living area of the one bedroom apartment was quite small and because we had a corner room we had a big concrete pillar in the way, but otherwise the rooms were faultless

Great hotel but room service offering was very limited, the app through which you order is poor and 29.00 for a burger which was not dissimilar to a Maccas cheese burger and just okay chips was not value for money. There are plenty of other eating options in the area to use.
