It was great value, budget accommodation. $50 for 2 nights parking was a bargain too. A little distance from the CBD, but with a tram stop nearby it was very easy to get around. Highly recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Melbourne.

The hotel is very central and in an excellent position. It's only a 5 minute walk to the Sky Bus, Southern Cross Train Station, Outlet Centre and Marvel Stadium. It's also within the free tram zone too. It's opposite the Police Station so feels safe. I stayed for the Grand Prix and it was half the price of some other central hotels. The beds are very comfortable, which is important to me. There is no need to get a taxi from the airport as the Sky Bus runs from 4am until 1am and costs $40 AUD return or $25 AUD one way (March 2025). I would definitely recommend this hotel and when I next travel to Melbourne I will be booking it again.

Hmm, a few issues some were sorted in a short time others not so much. A faulty light in the bath room was changed next day. The faulty toilet paper holder didn't get fixed while we were there but might be fixed now. The breakfast option at 15 not expensive so we had a look, coffee and tea, scrambled eggs and baked beans, toast with jam, serial we decided to not eat there as the hotel is closed to Coles, made our own breakfast, at 15 per adult not a bad deal if you just want eggs. Unfortunately the instant coffee was not drinkable, the black tea was ok but only tea option. The pool was to cold, the sauna was nice, the gym looked ok but we did not try it. The location suited us as there were Coles close by, several places to eat etc and close to southern cross station. The room was ok and the bed was ok. The tv took a long time to turn on and it was difficult to change channels. Over all for the price, location, the minimal hot drink option. Over all it was ok. The pool very disappointed as it was to cold. A microwave would have been nice

Run for the kids stay.

It’s always the best spot to stay. Close to everything I need and convenient coming in on the train. Great service with friendly staff to great you. Will always be my first pick for somewhere to stay in Melbourne.

Not sure how this rates as a 4 star hotel. It was good value. Reception staff were very friendly. My room was a reasonable size, but had no external window. There were no usb plugs so I was unable to charge my phone. The bathroom was also quite large, but no hairdryer and minimal toiletries. The room was very basic, and could do with a lick of paint. However for an overnight transit stop it was inexpensive and served the purpose. Wouldn't choose it as a destination hotel though, there's far better in Melbourne.

The room was spacious, clean and had nearly everything I thought it needed. My only suggested addition would be a couple of towel rails in the bathroom so towels could be hung up after use and reused the next day, rather than having to be replaced each day. The breakfast was quite good (and good value for $15), but I would have liked to see some fresh fruit and a greater variety of hot food. (Scrambled eggs and baked beans were the only hot items.) I would be happy to pay $20 for a breakfast with a greater variety of foods. The location is good for travellers who take the Skybus from Tullamarine to the city--it less than ten minutes on foot from the Skybus depot to the Atlantis. The view of the city from our room was very attractive, and access to trams to the city and beyond was good. For a comfortable and inexpensive hotel room, I strongly recommend the Atlantis. This will be our hotel of choice in future.

The room was smelled like someone urinated in it. After complaining to the front desk, we were told there’s no room for us to switch and we had to wait till the next day. We did moved to a different room which didn’t have the terrible odor. Overall, the hotel was mediocre. Their sheets were felt unclean.
