A nice hotel in Melbourne
It’s a nice hotel within a walking distance to the city centre and a 10 min walk from a market. The room is on a smaller size otherwise it’s a good place to stay

Great location for the markets.
Great location. Newly renovated. Very clean. Reception not always manned and staff were hard to contact upon check in and check out. Not their fault, I think they had cleaning as well. Room was very small but very clean and nice big TV. Also nice and quiet.

I was expecting the Best Western brand to be a multi story building on the main road, instead it is a modest low rise one street back from the main street (Peel Street). I arrived late and grumpy and was soon in a big bed in a small room. Very new and very clean I was surprised at the tiny fridge that struggled to hold six cans of soft drink. A large screen television above the bed allowed access to You Tube and other common websites but I never figured out how to find 'free' TV. I also struggled with the air-conditioning controls so the room stayed at fifteen degrees. The next day I was less grumpy and the staff warmed to me and I to them. I was in town for work (and dancing at night) so was in the room to shower, change and sleep. I'd stay there again.

The hotel is really well situated near Queen Victoria Market. We walked there for early breakfast which was fantastic. The room whilst relatively small was very clean and had sufficient amenities. The bed was beautiful to sleep in. We felt secure and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff are very helpful welcoming and kind.its a very secure motel.Close to the Victoria market and the trams plenty to places eat A ten minute walk to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.The bed is the best ever so comfortable.

Disappointing Experience at Best Western Queen Vic
I recently stayed at the Best Western Queen Victoria Market Hotel following a long flight and was disheartened by the lack of basic amenities like complimentary water in my room—a small but crucial comfort for any traveler. Efforts to arrange an early check-in were also met with poor communication and no cooperation from the hotel staff. These oversights marred my experience, and regrettably, I will not be choosing this hotel for my future visits to Melbourne.
