Good experience overall. I got no instructions on the airport shuttle and got no response to my email asking how it worked. I had to Google it and found a post on their FB page. But a guest shouldn't have to work that hard to get that information

Ok for what it is.

I messaged the hotel twice to ask about the free shuttle from the airport but they never replied. I checked their website and couldn't see any info on there , other than a shuttle was provided. Subsequently we had issues accessing the shuttle to the hotel. The hotel is tired and needs updating but as a one night stay prior to an early flight it was ok. What was great was the On site Bistro. The food was excellent.

Don’t be swayed by glowing reviews. This is a simple barebones hotel near the airport with lumpy beds. Shuttle is appreciated but you only need to crash and go here.

Property is convenient tot he airport and well priced. Nice to have a bar and bistro available until 11pm. Good airport transfer Rooms are becoming dated. Curtains do not block out the light from external lights. noise from corridor comes into room easily.

Good value Tullamarine motel

The room was quiet andclaen. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ate at the bistro and the meals were fine and good value for money. It is an older motel, so some aspects are a little dated, however it provides good value for money and I will stay there again.

The hotel/lodge is going through a renovation program and I stayed in a renovated room - a comfortable, modern design. A few thoughts on the room design: there's an auto on-off for the lighting in the bathroom which is strange and not desirable - I'd rather have dimmer switches so that each guest's specific lighting levels can be achieved easily. Also, the corridors in the hotel are long, brick (on the lower floors), and serpentine as they twist and wind to the elevator at the far end of the property. This is very inconvenient. The restaurant at the hotel did not have an appealing design, which led me to look off property. Positives included: nightly rate is a good value, free parking, clean & attractive rooms, but the even number rooms (which I was in one of them) get a view of the unsightly empty lot next door. There's a nice restaurant across the street, as I understand, and the UrbanSurf venue, but I never got to them - the front desk should offer a list/map of locations of interest within walking distance, and those a car ride away. I was curious as to what commercial center I should drive to for restaurants and shop, and found several by driving around - but it would have been considerate of the guests if the hotel would have provided such a list/map. All in all, a decent stay the night before a departure out of Melbourne's airport.

Love staying here... Convenient, close to airport, and small bus too and from the airport. I always try and stay here, and leave my car for a fee. Parking secured at night and under constant surveillance.
