Good for a family not a couple
The hotel is nice and new but the staff seem disinterested and everything from check in to getting ice delivered to the room takes a long time. Coin operated machines and therefore lots of kids in the lobby takes away any class the hotel could have

It was the perfect getaway for myself and my partner. The pool is shallower than we expected- not a deal breaker just something I should have looked at before booking (there’s no deep end it’s all 1.2m) Overall a lovely stay and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

The hotel is at great location and the architecture suits the purpose. Its looks classy when you get in and the staff don’t waste a second to serve you. The cost wasn’t that expensive considering the promotion they had available at the time. My room was spacious and well presented with nice furniture and layout. The airconditioning was working perfectly especially on the day that Melbourne was around 40 degrees and so muggy. The not so perfect areas: The pool and the entertaining facilities are not that impressive and were so busy. The pool size is not suitable for this traffic and could be much bigger. The breakfast buffet was also average but not that expensive either. The sewer smell was noticeable in the lobby and some floors… The room wasn’t very clean when I arrived and the carpet floor needed vacuum cleaning. The overall experience was great considering the cost and I will be staying there again for sure.

Easy check in with friendly reception staff! Comfortable bed especially after a long haul trip. Had the swimming pool to myself in the early morning - a perk of jetlag! Decent location. Would recommend.
