A surprisingly pleasant stay. The room was large and clean with all the amenities I needed. Large bathroom as well. Very quiet and good undercover parking albeit a bit “tight”. Overall it was a good experience. I will go again next time I am in Melbourne.

. The stairs look lovely, but very hard to get up if you have any difficulty walking. I do have a hard time doing that, so maybe a lift of some sort. As I would love to return for stay.

Excellent hotel by the Swinburne campus

Excellent vintage-style hotel near Swinburne campus. Despite being located next to a pub, the noise didn’t bother me. My room featured a whirlpool bath (unexpected!) and two beds (king+single). It was more than reasonably priced for its comfort. The only downside - my window faced a brick wall. I stayed there for two night during my professional visit of the Swinburne University of Technology. Will definitely stay there again when I come back.

Convenient and friendly

The family room was perfect for what we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. On-site parking. Walking distance to glenferrie rd shops, station and hospital. Pub food was delicious. Room was clean and full of old world character. Axil coffee next door Would happily stay again
