Carpet was old and dirty- it looked like it needed a vacuum. The room had a funky odour and the sink would not drain. Location is fabulous, breakfast was great and the staff were good. If you just want somewhere to sleep that’s close to southern cross then it’s okay .

Close to train station and walking distance to shopping precinct. Bathroom needs update, sink tap so hard water keeps flowing. Housekeeping didn't come in our room to clean even though we put our "clean room signed" and we stayed for four nights. Reception wasn't friendly when I asked for fresh towels. We won't go back.

Great hotel, close to transport, shops & restaurants, also close to Crown Casino & the Melbourne exhibition & conference's centre. I have stayed here before (for conferences & before/after flights. The rooms are basic but clean & comfortable & good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
