By far the property is clean, quiet with spacious room. Delicious breakfast is a plus. Reception is on level 7. Unless you enjoy walking, the property is quite far from central station.

Pleasant surprise.
Couldn't have been more surprised by how close we were to everything in the city.So central for our needs.25 min walk to Marvel Stadium ,5minutes and your on southbank. From our arrival to checking in ,staff were very friendly,our room was very clean,everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was more than adequate and again, the staff said good morning ,as they cleaned fresh tables for you to enjoy your breakfast.Car parking was easy and we look forward to booking again.

Slow and poor service.
I've stayed many times at this hotel, and other Holiday Inn hotels in Australian and overseas, but this was easily the worst check-in experience - more than 20 minutes of waiting. Ignored the pre-booked parking as part of the booking and made us book via a QR code on the counter. Then when we returned from dinner it took 20 minutes to get into the room because the lifts were barely operating. No answer of the phone or the call button downstairs.

stood on a metal clip on the carpet which was obviously not cleaned very well. Glasses in the room were dirty and there was only 2 coffee sachets. No stocked mini bar and the person in the room next door was still watching his loud tv at 2.30am. Breakfast was good, coffee there was excellent

Great breakfast. Staff great. Entrance to property not the best. Tiles in bathroom cracked. Bathroom not cleaned properly as had stains. Quality of budget hotel, so over priced.

They didn’t service our room on one day and we had to ask for towels to be bought up and had to wait for these to arrive before we could go to sleep. When we said our room had not been serviced they asked if we had put a sign in the door and didn’t offer any assistance. No tea bags were there from day one. Chunk of hair in shower floor.

Top floor room with a beautiful uninterrupted view of the botanic gardens, with the arts centre spire blue lit right in front of us at night. In the morning, sunrise right onto my face. Loved it :(

We stayed in room 823. The first thing we noticed was the fitted sheet was not fitted and kept pulling up. When we woke up in the morning, we both had had a reaction to something in the air conditioning, each of us sniffling and with a bit of a sore throat (these symptoms both went soon after we checked out). The other thing that we were deeply concerned about was the breakfast buffet. We ended up not eating our food, as everything that should have been hot was cold - eggs, bacon, sausages… the tomatoes looked uncooked and had just had a large amount of herbs heaped on them. The fact that all this food was being served cold makes me wonder if any checks for done from a health and safety standpoint, as you could actually get someone sick from this. We definitely do not feel we got what we paid for and this experience has turned us off Holiday Inn.
