Booked through lastminute.com.au and told upon arrival that the room i had booked was sold out ( sky high room lvl 20 ) and was given a room on level 13 and told that it was my fault for not booking direct through the hotel so they were unwilling to help resolve the issue but i was assured i would love the view from my room.. my view was of the entrance to the burnley tunnel so that was disappointing to say the least but otherwise my stay was pleasant, quiet and uninterrupted.

The pool was closed for maintenance and this was not disclosed prior to checking in, not was any compensation offered. Of course this is our of hotel management control but was a main feature of consideration in choosing this hotel so we were very disappointed that not into was it inaccessible but staff were unable to give an estimate of when it might be open again. It was closed for the duration of our stay. We also noticed that there were noisy drafts in our room due, we think, to window seal being inadequate. Other than that it was a nice apartment, nicely cleaned and maintained. Staff were friendly.

Overall the stay was good, great views and the room layout was flexible for 3 people. However I felt it was quite poor to have bars of soap with no area to have it sit on both the bathroom and kitchen. A hand soap pump would have been a lot better. Also has a sachet of dishwashing liquid and 1 toilet roll - this felt very cheap.

The property is okay, with a Woolworth just across the street and river in walking distance. The services are very basic, staff are amateur with no customer service experience, you have to ask every time you need something. Besides there is no phone in the room and you have to go downstairs every time you need something. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and is not comfortable most of the time with no control from the room. The staff miss basic things for instance we had booked and paid for a cot for our baby which was not set up for us. Cleaners missed our room a couple of times. We asked for a garbage bag from reception and they simply said we do not have them here and cleaning staff have left! Do not recommend, with this price you can find better options.

Great stay! Apartment was perfect for my Dad and I. Great location, 5 minute walk to the Crown and short distance to the city. Very clean and tidy. Could do with a little maintenance as the bathroom door was very hard to close. But all in all a great stay!
