I’ve stayed at better places
Unable to check in until 5.30pm. Bathtub was dirty they only have students doing the rooms and they are under pressure.on room clean they do not wipe down bench or wash up. The location was good he’s okay you must ask fir room clean otherwise it’s not down

we enjoyed our stay- room was clean, it was nice to have a view of beautiful trees out the window & great natural light. Some of the fixtures are old and not in great condition (eg power points, flushing button on toilet broken) but nothing that made a big difference. Would recommend this hotel

Very tired and dated apartment needs a decor and furniture update one bedroom very small could only just walk round bed other bedroom not much storage Bed firm but comfortable and pillows good Living area nice and roomy Air conditioner only just cool so apartment quite hot (not a hot day ) Bathroom has shower over bath with nothing to stop water going all over the floor and soap bottles to far away Unfortunately not the cleanest place I’ve been to with dirt on carpets, floors and mirrors and dusty skirting boards Location great especially if you want to walk down to sporting precinct

The location is excellent and staff were friendly, however the propert was unclean and definitely needs a bit of work done to it. They could definitely improve what’s available in the kitchen as this was one of the main reasons I booked this particular motel. The kitchen appliances are very limited for a family & cooking.

My two young daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at the mantra on exhibition. It was very handy to theatres, a supermarket to buy food, and the room was nice and clean and spacious. We would definitely stay again.

Disappointed in the cleanliness of this property - hair in shower/bath that was definitely not ours, marks and grime all over the walls of bathroom and back of bathroom door. The doonas are stained and beds are not comfortable, husband ended up with neck pain. Needs a thorough deep cleaning and the whole place is tired and needs updating. Phone in room also didnt work.

Great property, well located and well priced. At the time of check in some other guests had issues due to rooms not being ready, but I wasn't affected. If the property knows it's going to be full, it should have more staff on hand to prepare rooms.

Unsettling evening
The hotel reception is only open during office hours which means if you come in after hours, you have to use an intercom to talk to a remote operator (not in Melbourne and has no idea what hotel it actually is) to check in. The intercom didn't work when I was there so I had to dial with an international phone number to call a random number posted on the door. What's worse is they'll ask you for all your credit card information including the security pin while you're standing in the middle of the street or else they won't unlock the door. You just have to verbally read out the numbers so everyone passing by can hear. This is in addition to already contacting me earlier in the door to take full payment from the credit card that was put through hotels.com when I made the booking. Deeply unsettling and unprofessional. Then when I got to the room, there was crumbs all over the kitchen, strands of pubic and other hair in the bathtub, and water leaking all over the floor from the fridge. The electric kettle was faulty, overheated and would shock you. The next morning I made my complaints to front desk and got a cleaner room with working appliances but the evening before isn't really an experience I want to relive. The front desk woman was very nice and professional but I don't think she is given enough resources to make processes better and things better across the hotel. I wouldn't stay again.

We requested the sofa bed bed be made up for our 3rd child. It was made with sheets but no blanket. We checked in late and when I called the after hours number I was told nothing could be done to rectify the situation at that time. This was in the middle of winter and our child had to make do with towels for blankets.

Easy check in, great central property. Lovely staff at reception very quick to fix tv reception. Windows needed a good clean, and the fridge was frozen due to no ventilation around the cupboard, but we propped the cupboard door open and it was fine.

Good location. Quite central. But the room was basic at best. The carpet smelt musty, mould around the bathroom, pillows had a weird smell and the bed was not supportive. There are better properties in the area. This property wasn’t exactly cheap either.
