I arrived 1.5 hrs earlier at Hotel as it was the only convenient time to be dropped off. I understood that check in was at 3pm and hopefully get into the room earlier. Foyer music was repetitive and not feeling well as I had two heart procedure scheduled for the next day. I finally went up to reception at 2.55pm and asked when is my room available as I noticed other people were being checked in ages before the check in time. Seemed to be no hydration facilities in the foyer, repetitive music, no consumer service to see if I was ok after such a long time waiting. Maybe reception needs to be more active than hiding behind fake walls behind reception. I was too ill to redeem my commentary drink with the booking. Thankfully my two heart operations worked out well.

The bar fridge in the hotel was not working. We logged a job on our first night and we were told, someone came into fix it but it wasn’t fixed. We stayed the 5 days and 4 nights with a broken fridge which would not cool our stuff especially my husband’s diabetes meds.

Clean and spacious rooms, cosy bed and great location. However, customer service is lacking. When I tried to dial reception, there was no response. I had to go down to reception as the hair dryer had gone up in flames as soon as I plugged it in. I commented that I had been attempting to call reception and the response I got was "Did I dial 9 first?" and I said I didn't know I had to. Upon checking out, I showed them a photo of the phone in the room and asked them to point out how to call reception. They said it wasn't on there but on the welcome letter - which we were not given. Very disappointing indeed.
