Staff nice friendly but did not email copy invoice on departure Sunday. When moving a chair to use in the room it clearly had accumulated fluff, rubbish, dust underneath it. Overall nice stay but noisy neighbours slamming doors.

Spacious rooms, well appointment, very clean. Bed is comfortable, location in quiet street but easily accessible by trams which run frequently. Friendly staff and generous late check out. Very close to Albert Park. Good value highly recommended.

Dear support at Wotif. I would like to raise a complaint/issue with our recent stay at the View Melbourne. I booked a staycation package which included free parking, late check out, breakfast and a complimentary gift. When we checked in there was no mention of any things included in the package. I had to go back to the reception to get confirmation about where to park, when breakfast was and where and when was the late checkout time. I raised the complementary gift issue and was told that there should be a bottle of wine in the fridge. We had checked and there was none, instead the fridge was leaking at the bottom shelf. We were asked if we wanted maintenance and should take a look. I was then told that the gift should be there when we got back later that night. Neither of those things occurred. When I checked out today I raised the issue again at reception. They needed me to show my wotif booking with all the inclusion for them to look into the issue. Once I was able to show them that all they could do was to offer a drinks card to use for a future return. Which I declined as I will not rerun to this hotel, and the whole point of a complementary arrival gift is to use it during the stay. It was clear that for some reason they have no idea what the offers are available at their hotel via Wotif. That is a communication and execution problem. It made my stay at the hotel a negative one.

My third stay in the last 2 months and thoroughly enjoyed the stay for the most part. I was woken on the last night by some very very loud guests outside my room at 2 am!!! I opened the door to confront them, however they were so intoxicated they couldn’t even register what I was asking them!!!
