Staff polite and friendly. Request for a microwave was met. Beds comfortable. Door to shower toilet need attention. In poor condition and need a bit force to close. This could be due to being subjected to steam from the shower. Cramped space to access toilet if door is open.

The staff were amazing. The bed was great and the shower. The room needs upgrading as there were cracks and looked run down my husband and i appreciated a good nights sleep as we were both on business I appreciated a lovely coffee down at cafe but the sachels werent topped up in the room for a two night stay and the utensils werent refreshed. The toilet also wasnt cleaned for the second day there also wasnt a microwave. As a 4 star hotel i did expect a bit more. The curtains need replacing. The bed linen and towels were snice and clean. The tv worked well with netflix attached. We werent in the room for long periods so the bed was comfortable enough. There wasnt room service for breakfast. Had to go to cafe downstairs. Was inconvenient for my conference at the pullman. The trams were great to get into the city. The area was lovely with parks and skyline of buildings. It was a bit noisy even though we were on the fifth floor. The uber eats were good and the uber and taxi service. We had to find somewhere to get snacks as there wasnt a room minibar. The foyer had construction parts which looked unappealing. The pizza was amazing well done to the kitchen. We didnt know checkout time as there was only a menu in the room with room service from 12-9.30 pm. Overall the staff were amazing and the reception staff were very helpful. Overall it was nice to get away from home for two days and come back to relax and unwind a bit. Ty to the staff for ur amazing service we truly are happy

Whilst I have always loved staying here at View, this time was completely disappointing. When we arrived, we were not made aware prior, that there were renovations in progress. We checked in, and the young Lady at reception went over and beyond to make us feel welcome, adding a late check out for us. We parked the car and headed up to our room. Getting out of the lift, my 10yr old son pointed out, that there was a broken PowerPoint hanging out of the wall on the walk up to our room, being very unsafe, I pushed this back in, but it was broken, and kept popping out, so I informed the cleaner of this. When we checked out the following day, nothing had been done to rectify this. When we got in to our room, it had been given the quick “once over” table was dirty, dust along skirting boards, bathroom had hair on the walls in the shower, and the toilet had not been cleaned. Again, I asked the cleaner to come and clean the toilet, and she did straight away. After settling in, my son asked if he could go to the pool, so I took him there, to find a sign, “currently out of order” this was extremely disappointing, and if I was told about the renovations and pool not in order when booking, I would have booked elsewhere. Not happy on this occasion View Hotel! 😔
