This is a simple hotel right in the Middle of the Melbourne CBD. Next door to David Jones. The rooms are very small but ok for a solo trip for one night. Window had a view of a wall and the room was very dark. I have stayed in the front facing rooms before which are brighter. Room clean and tidy. Large shower

Very convenient for dining options. Being in china town the Chinese options were amazing but we also found a German restaurant easy walking distance that had us struggling to walk home as we ate TOO much. Breakfast was very accommodating,

There is a lot of internal noise from other guests - you can hear people talking though the walls and especially when walking down the halls -- so - next time I'll take ear plugs- but overall - very happy with this place -- so convenient and one of the few reasonably priced hotels around. Very very clean and very popular - so book well ahead.
