It was THE most comfortable bed I've had in over a month of traveling in Australia. Also the bathrobes are as soft as velvet. Food was also excellent.

Excellent Location

The location of this establishment is excellent. Right on the corner of Bourke and Spencer Streets. Directly opposite Southern Cross Station where the Skybus from Melbourne Airport also arrives. There's a tram stop right out front so you can go exploring with ease. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are quite comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Stayed here before and will definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Movenpick Hotel was fantastic. Such a great location to get to via public transport and skybus. Hotel was clean, modern and has a great swimming pool and spa. Staff were above excellent. Very friendly, nothing a problem. They are a real credit to the Hotel.

Lovely hotel and in a great spot for public transport use. Only issue was that we had to ask for our room and towels to be cleaned even when we had put our sign out and had gone out for the whole day. Also no gluten free option available on room service menu. Other than that a great place and will definately use again.

While convenient, the area around the hotel is unsafe and incredibly noisy. Our main problem was the noise in the rooms; trams, motorbikes roaring all night and generators. I would think in a new building that sound proofing would be achievable. Also the smoke alarm has been placed conveniently just above the beds so every 30 seconds you are flashed with 2 bright red lights. So unless you are a deep sleeper, I would not recommend this hotel. On the positive side it was clean and amenities were good.
