This is an average hotel. The decor was minimal. Pillows were uncomfortable. The heater didn't work. Staff were very good. Location was good.

The property is sadly looking unloved and tired. We have stayed at the premises around 4 times over the years, staff always pleasant. Unfortunately, the premises ate looking very tired. Carpet in public space water stained. Prices remain high but condition of site is now poor to average. Will look elsewhere when next visiting a Melbourne sorry.

Wouldn’t stay here again. The room had a musty stench, carpet did not feel or look clean, stains over most things in the room. Luckily the bathroom was clean. Fridge, lights and fuse box made constant sounds throughout the whole stay - overall did not feel fresh or peaceful!

I was there exploring Melbourne. It was a great location, close to free tram zone, across the street from flagstaff station, a beautiful park and short walk to the Queen Victoria Market. Room was clean, comfy bed, fridge , burners, microwave and dishwasher. Accommodations met all my needs. Thanks
