Great place. Great area
Great rooms. Beds are a little bit stiff but comfortable. Not a huge fan of the two twins together being called a king bed, but that’s being nitpicky. The balcony is great and the showers are perfect. Very comfortable place I will definitely book again.

Central and Convenient
My partner and I stayed here for two nights as we had him booked in for a tattoo up the road and thought it made more sense to stay in Essendon than traipsing back and forth from the CBD. The hotel was very accommodating - Luke was wonderful at concierge when we arrived and enabled us early check-in (around 11AM). We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, and it contained the following: • a kitchen with stovetop, microwave and full-sized fridge. We only used the fridge. • two TVs - one in the living room and one in the bedroom. • a Queen bed. • a laundry, iron and safe. • a wonderful shower (great water pressure!) Strangely, the room did not contain tissues or a stand for your luggage to sit on, so we had to leave our suitcase on the floor (and under foot). It was certainly comfortable, but on the smaller side. We spent most of our time outside so it was only really a place to rest our heads. There is a door in the living room which I believe links to the adjacent room which might be a nice option if you are travelling as friends but want your privacy. The location is excellent - there is a tram stop basically on the doorstep which would take you into the city. Although, given our room faced Keilor Rd, the noise of the tram late into the evening might be disruptive if you're a light sleeper. I would definitely stay here again - a nice alternative to the city and a quick run to the airport!

We were very pleased with our stay at Punthill Essendon North. Staff were very helpful, especially Luke. The one thing that caused us a bit of concern was the photos on Expedia which we found a little confusing.

Close to shops and resturants, noisy tram lines but all night. I did not like the split system AC in the rooms, they are outdated and building rooms should have had the conventional Mechanical Vents as building is ventilated via mechanical ventilation system
