The person who checked me in on Thursday and Checked me out on Monday was very kind and attentive. The issues I experienced during my stay were mainly related to the cleanliness and the noise from other guests on the floor above me.
Regarding the cleanliness theres there was mould above the showers and dust along the walls. I had to request a staff member check the door next to the toilet as it had concerning brown stains which wiped away with some dampened toilet paper. The table provided in the lounging area of the room had marks and stains over it. The bin and blinds in the room also need some repairs. For the nights over the weekend there were no issued with sound until the last night (sun). A larger family had been booked into a small room above mined and there was consistent thumping for hours before I complained to reception. I later was later awoken 10:30 pm by more constant thumping and yelling from the family where I texted the number provided to speak to the room again. I was then again woke at 2am by the thumping in the room again. I didnt bother to text or call as I received no response to my text messages from earlier.

Staff was not responsive too my problem
in the room, no heat, hallway was filthy and keycard didn't work in hallway, on the last night the Asian front desk guy actually walk me up to my room and fix the problem.
I liked the position and the quirky artwork. The room itself had a lovely outlook over Fitzroy Street but was in disrepair with water damage and worn carpet. The television didn’t work at all and there was no milk for the tea or coffee provided. The room was not very clean and I wouldn’t stay here again.
I was not told how to work the heater in the room the first night I froze. room was very clean staff was very pleasant I'm not used to the European switches putting the key card in next to the door apparently activates all the electric had no idea.anyway I'd stay again..
This property was not clean milk was off remote didn’t work and had junkies around it seemed more like emergency accommodation. I was there for 15 minutes and checked out lost my money and booked elsewhere
Would I stay there again, no. It looked so much better on line but on arrival it's pretty clear this place is on it's last legs. The room and bathroom facilities itself, aren't bad at all, it's just the whole vibe of the place left me wanting to depart as soon as I could.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during both our check in and check out; they could not have been better.
The cleanliness of the room could have been better (with the floor underneath the chairs and bed needing a better vacuum).
The artwork throughout the hotel is amazing and gives the hotel a wonderful atmosphere.
The place is very wonderful and unique. Ideal for families with children with a very homie vibe. I like that it has a kitchen where have an option to cook but there are a lot of cafe’s around.
