Great location next to Southern Cross Station

This hotel is conveniently located very close to the big & central Southern Cross Train Station so it’s a short walk from the Skybus stop. I’ve been here over 10 years ago, however it is aging and is nothing flash. Don’t expect this to be 5 stars or chose somewhere else and pay more. My room on the fifth floor was quiet and good. I did get 3 single beds rather than a king bed but the convenient location was worth it.

The place is quiet, even though it is close to Southern Cross. The bed was very firm. Shower was great. Rooms are small, but priced accordingly. Be sure to set the aircon lower, to keep room cool, but will turn on and off during the night. Great location for access to South Wharf, Docklands or the City

Great location. Great amenities.

Love staying at the Travelodge. The local is so central. Close to transport yet tacked away in secluded location. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Coming from the country i like that I have the option of either catching the train or driving and leaving my car in the spacious carpark. The rooms are clean and have crockery and cutlery, along with a microwave and kettle. Everything I need for an enjoyable stay at an affordable price.

Travelodge is ideally placed next to Southern Cross Station. The lifts down to the Travelodge need more signposting, however. I wandered around for quite a while (and couldn't use the stairs as had too much luggage).
