Charming Heritage Stay with Great Service The property is a beautiful heritage building, and the staff were truly exceptional, making the stay pleasant overall. Room Configuration Issue Before check-in, I was asked about the room configuration and responded multiple times, but my messages didn’t seem to reach their system. To avoid surprises, I’d recommend calling them directly to confirm your preferences. Great for Families The breakfast was lovely, and the kids enjoyed it a lot. The amenities were excellent, though the last-minute bed wasn’t very comfortable. Would Stay Again Despite the minor issues, I’d definitely book here again for the wonderful ambiance and hospitality.

Really sumptuous stay, everything is designed to make you feel very cherished and cared for. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are beautifully furnished. We had booked the loft suite which was absolutely massive, plenty of room for myself my husband and our daughter. We loved the all day snack bar where we could help ourselves to free fruit, biscuits and soft drink as well as yoghurts and other nibbles. A free wine and crackers at the bar each evening was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!

Perfect spot to stay, relax and explore.
Hotel with lots of character and in a prime location for the CBD and transport. Trams, trains etc within a 5 minute walk with a huge selection of eateries nearby. The room was a good size, but automatic room service is every 3 days, although you can ring reception for a daily. The only downside to the room was the single ply toilet paper. Silly, I know but, c'mon, and the tv choices were basic if you didn't connect with your own services. Aside from that, breakfast choices were great and plentiful and we spent every night down having the free wine in a comfy chair, people watching from above. The food at the restaurant below also looked pretty good although we didn't try it. The service has to be singled out as excellent. The staff were fantastic. Best hotel we've had in the city yet and we'd definitely stay again.

This was the best place to stay in Melbourne. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Staff helpful and friendly and efficient. Public transport conveniently close. Lovely historical building.

This hotel is excellent for a family stay. Convenient location to shopping mall and all the tourist highlights. Excellent services and delicious breakfast. Please be careful about the washing machine. If you wash your dark-colored clothing first, it may give you the next load of grey color.

We loved it.
A beautifully restored building with large rooms and comfortable amenities. We had an inside room which meant we had no view. If we were to stay again we would be sure to book an outside room. The afternoon Wine Down, (complimentary glass of wine) was a nice touch and the staff were delightful. Breakfast could have been nicer if the food was hotter and the dishes replenished more often. We didn't get to enjoy eggs or bacon as it had all run out but in spite of this there was a good selection. A lovely choice of hotel in a good location. We will probably stay here again and have already recommended to friends.

The hotel was fantastic, we were upgraded to a king Suite from a Queen suite, onky issue was no drawers or shelves if you like to unpack and not easy to live out of 2 suitcases but there is plenty of space. Breakfast was phenomenal and the Wine down 4-6 we got unlimited wine which was a lovely bonus. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful big shout out to Gemma on the Wine down on the Monday night
