Staff very helpful and friendly , rooms weren’t the cleanest there was hair in bathroom drain, walls were dirty ,no cutlery or tea towels, not enough sugar satchels for tea and coffee bit pricey for that quality .

Reception staff arrogant and rude. Room service and general food quality was below poor. Noisy room overlooking the rubbish bins. The door slamming and noise outside my room door - near the lift and meeting rooms - didn’t stop until late in the eventing.

Not sure if it was because it was my last night stay or they commonly have terrible housekeeping, but for my last night, it’s like they didn’t even bother. They didn’t even empty any of the trash bins, left my used glass and mug without replacing with new ones, and didn’t bother to look and replenish used tea bags from previous nights. Looks like they only came in and changed one used towel and haphazardly made up the bed (don’t think they change sheets), doubtful they even do any other cleaning in the bathroom. Kind of the point of staying in a hotel is to have some level of turndown service. A bit of a disappointment when I’ve been out all day to come back to this on my last night.
