The staff was excellent! The property is located in an area that was great, went downhill, but is transitioning in a positive direction. Vitality hotel has a fence around the perimiter, and 24 hour security. Room was clean, bed great, but some room fixtures (in our room) were slightly worn and in need of replacement.

The hotel lobby was clean and pretty, but everything else was disappointing. The room there were hairs in the bathroom, the included breakfast was really not good at all some of the worst food we've eaten, the bartenders were new (they just opened the renovated hotel) and got our orders wrong, the hotel makes you do keyless check in kiosk which made it impossible to share room keys with other people in our room. Stayed in a room where a dog was barking for hours next door and while the staff was responsive to texts there is no way to call them which was a bit unsettling as a guest. The only good thing was the beds were comfy and the lobby looks pretty nice. We also felt safe there. Overall just was not what I expected based on the positive reviews. They just reopened so the reviews of this "new" version of the hotel are not up to date.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were available and easy to speak with. My only thing with the hotel was the bartender wasn't so friendly. She was on her phone most of the time and didn't really talk to the patrons or follow up on orders. It was a bit disappointing but over all, I enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

At least the bed was comfortable

While the inside looks rather glamourus, this place operates like a light version of prison. I have never been to a hotel that texts you a dozen times to confirm, re-confirm, re-confirm, check on you, ask you to text them to check out, has no alternative rooms keys besides your phone, elevators constantly wet from pool users, and a singular person who is at the tiniest table. The price looked right, and has security, with a gated entrance, but youre forced to only use the front door to go in and out. The amount of surveillance is like shaking a hand with the devil, while you know you're probably more secure, everything has warnings to include "technology that detects smoking events", which is fine, but from the lobby to your bed it feels like you're being watched. Friendly staff, ok parking (nothing close to the building), and has a bar. Most people like to be left alone after they make reservations and check in, but this location has other ideas. Also expect to pay $100 more than whats advertised, its a hold thats given back to you but not at the speed you had to give it. I'd find another location who protects your privacy rather than expect you to do the worst.

I truly enjoy my stay here as soon as I got in the hotel room I said man I should’ve booked another night! It was so clean! The staff was very accommodating. The parking was self parking and there were night cameras in the parking lot as well as security monitoring the parking lot. I felt very safe and I truly enjoyed the QR code as the room key.

Clean & comfortable!

Clean & comfortable! The room is a bit dark at night with all the lights on. There is a fridge but no microwave in the room. There is a community microwave in the lobby area. My TV was broken and they offered me to transfer to another room which was very nice of them but I was unable to transfer at 12:30am when offered since I had to wake up at 5am. Plus I had a lot of things to carry. Overall I would recommend this hotel to any looking for a clean and comfortable stay in Memphis!
