Fix shower

Room was fine but the shower handle didn’t stay in place. It would slide downward and the water would get so hot it was scalding. So it you either had to shower cold or risk getting scalded Made it very difficult to shower.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were locked out of our room while our belongings were still inside, which caused significant inconvenience. Additionally, the room had an unpleasant odor, and it was clear that the linens had not been changed. Furthermore, the breakfast experience was disappointing. The toaster was not functioning, the food was cold, and the muffins were hard. Overall, these issues left a negative impression of our stay. I hope you will address these concerns for future guests.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The continental breakfast needs improvement. The heat was broken in the lobby and dinning area. We had to eat with our jackets on and we were still cold. The staff was so cold they all had sweaters and heaters next to them. Besides all that, the hotel was very clean, well lit, and nicely decorated.

Trying to be really modern on a budget

The water was turned off and no one told us. We got in very late and were exhausted. We had NO hot water and the water came out brown first. There is no phone in the room you have to text people for help from your cell. We just went to bed. The next morning, we let the lady in the lobby know and she gave us another room til 1pm so we could shower. When we got to the new room, the card to let us in didn’t work so we had to go back downstairs for help. She came in and helped us in the room and that bathroom had not been cleaned. There was hair in the shower and pee in the toilet. We just left. The hotel has promise. It was being renovated downstairs so I get it, but if you are still allowing guest during construction, be on top of everything else.

Only bad thing was breakfast service (the night shift guy spent more time talking in the back kitchen then making sure silverware was stocked in the front and appeared upset when I had to go look for him to ask for it). Also not a fan of the electronic keys (code didn’t work on my 2nd day so was locked out of my room) and the self check in. Otherwise good stay

We had housekeeping on one day. The next day the housekeeper came before 9 AM and we asked them to come back an hour and they never did. We reported it to the operations manager that evening when we got back to the hotel and discovered that we did not have any housekeeping, and all the soiled towels were left on the floor in the room. We were offered a complementary breakfast the next day. We waited in the lobby several minutes only for him to come back and tell us that he would have somebody come and knock on our door once he found the breakfast coupons. It was after 10 PM before somebody came. The lobby is beautiful and they have done some work aesthetically to make the property more appealing on the ground level, but the rooms don’t reflect the same level of care. They are definitely aging and could use some upgrades. The handle on my drawer fell off, and I almost cut my foot with it, as it was metal.

Technological Advances and Confusions

There really isn't a check in process like other hotels. This is not terrible, but it is a bit confusing how to do it. I got the QR code on my phone the day of check in and it was easily added to my wallet. However, it doesn't really say what to do. The process is to hold two fingers over these two little dots on your hotel room, then hold up your QR code to the door lock. That is a cool tech advancement, but a bit confusing. So confusing in fact that there was a person in the lobby helping people on how to do it. This location seemed really busy. But it was a Saturday night. But there were people everywhere. In the parking lot, there is an automated, robot voice over a loudspeaker repeating "this is a restricted area. this is a restricted area." I am not sure if it was broken or if that is what was supposed to happen.
