Amazing staff and clean rooms. This was my first trip to Memphis. I went to meet up with a friend that had recently moved. My flight came in pretty late so it was easier to get a hotel for the first night. I feel like the restaurant and bar should be open later. I didn’t know before I booked the room that the area isn’t safe. I was warned by my Lyft driver and the staff alike. At the time I checked in I had no safe option for a hot meal and a glass of wine. If having the bar and restaurant open later isn’t an option I think the convenience area in the hotel should offer a wider variety of food and have beer and wine for sell. I truly loved the staff, the room was nice but I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. I was hungry, stressed out, wanted a drink and felt trapped and hungry. If the hotel was surrounded by bars and restaurants the hotel not having food available wouldn’t be a problem but there really isn’t anywhere you can safely walk to.

So this was my second time staying at this hotel, and from the outside the hotel looks old and rundown, but inside it is nice. This time my room door would not shut properly unless you put a lot of force and it looked like the door had been tried to be broken into multiple times, the shower wasn’t working well just kind of felt like it was a downgrade from the first time that we stayed there

The check in was easy and using your phone as your key is great. Our room had drainage issues in the tub making your shower a bath and the lack of an airport shuttle was not ideal.
