I made a 2 night reservation, paid in advance, and did not have a hotel room when I arrived. I knew I would arrive after midnight, so I attempted to call the property multiple times throughout the day with no answer. I checked the website and it stated check-in ended at 3am, so I wasn't concerned. When we arrived at 1 am I was first told that I did not have a reservation for the first day. The clerk started he could not discuss it with me because I had booked online and would need to discuss it with the online booking. When I started taking to the online booking, the check told me he gave my room away because I was not there by 9:30pm. When I said I had tried to call multiple times throughout the day he picked his phone up and called to show that the phone rang. I stated that it was not being answered when I called. The clerk also told me that the website did not state 3am was the latest check-in for a reservation even when I showed him proof of this. Overall, I am highly unsatisfied with Motel 6 Memphis.
