The entire place from the building, the elevator, to the room smelled like cigarette smoke. My son’s clothes were black from crawling on the floor in the room. The walls are so thin you can hear what’s going on in the hall and the other rooms at all times. There are large gaps under the connecting door and between the doors so you can see into other people’s rooms. I own many businesses and have done many remodels and this is just so lazy and unsafe.

Great Location, Poor Experience Due to Noise
The place and location are great, and communication with Ramber was excellent. Unfortunately, the guests next door were having a huge party with about 20 people. There was loud music, screaming, singing, and banging until 3 am. The smell of weed came through the door, making my apartment terrible to sleep in. I put up with it all until 1:30 am when I contacted Ramber through the chat function, not expecting a reply. To my surprise, they responded within a few minutes. However, because there is no staff at the hotel, this kind of situation is likely to occur again. The noise finally stopped around 2:30 am, but it significantly affected my stay.

Excellent property, kept in great condition, really nice decor. Very private and quiet, super clean. The whole place smelled great. Other guests, when you saw them, were friendly and neighborly. The pool area is super cute.

We had a great stay at The Rambler! The room was clean and comfortable, and a great location to everything we wanted to do! You’re right across the street from the Lorraine Motel and Civil Rights Museum, and about a 10 minute walk from Beale Street. There is no covered parking, but we easily parked for free on the street and had no issues. Overall an excellent place to stay in Memphis!
