Room and building looked nice in the room the office chair was a torn apart, used, dirty gaming chair. we ordered pizza to the room, and not even 20 min after it was put away, we had ants, and speaking of which we were on the 3rd floor!!!!!! and for the price I paid the breakfast option was terrible.

Mission Accomplished
Our mission was an affordable but clean and comfy room to stay for the night after traveling from Virginia and this worked! It was much nicer than we expected but there were some several small things that needed fixing. The biggest was that the closet in our room had a note to keep the closet closed but the doors wouldn’t shut fully so it couldn’t close much less stay closed. However the staff was super friendly and the room was spacious and quiet. The area around the hotel doesn’t feel super safe but it was still quiet and not really any activity outside. My favorite thing was the online check in process where I was able to provide my ID pictures and card info so it saved a lot of time when we arrived.

I’ve stayed at a lot of murdery “hotels” over the years but this one was by far the weirdest yet. Bad part of town, fenced in parking lot next to lots more shady hotels (this was the nicest of them all, gotta give them that), but I couldn’t walk the dog anywhere, there were all sorts of weird things happening right outside, and private security SUVs were in and out of all the parking lots from dusk to dawn. Also, stuff in the room didn’t work, but honestly, just don’t stay there based on location alone.

Staff was great, but it changed when I asked to be switched to another room because beds were too small. New room had a leak in the toilet, kept making sounds of filling tank, then fridge was making sounds constantly.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! Shame on Wingate by Wyndham from adding there logo to this dump! 1/2 way thru a remodel so it has some new paint on this pig.... terrible. Not a 5 or 6 more like a 3 or 4 - shabby and nasty... DON'T STAY HERE!!

Very clean. Safe location near food & freeway access. Helpful & friendly family staffing their business. They obviously have put a lot of time & money into renovation and improvements. However, not all the kinks are worked out.

We arrived and had booked a double bed room opened door and single bed. That was first room. Next ..she assigned another room the TV didn't work...Third room was the charm everything worked. I have to say the beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. But chair was worn and torn. Furniture outdated and missing handles. Went down to breakfast and that was ok until I went back for coffee and a roach was in the floor. Staff very friendly and helpful upon request. With all this said if I visit Memphis in the future I sadly wouldn't book this hotel again as the area was questionable.
