What an experience, Mr Vargas was a great host and took care of us. We enjoyed the pool, and after dinner we took the bikes that are available to ride and went around town. The look in my girls' faces said it all. Thank you again
What a beautiful Hacienda hotel. Tbe staff and room was excellent. The food selection and taste also very good. A very calm and interesting Hacienda. Highly recommend.
We booked this place for our last stop before the Merida airport. We were looking to stay in an a traditional Hacienda.
We passed through the somewhat non-descript neighborhood that surrounds it, and once we were within its gates felt as though we had stumbled upon a museum dedicated to the history of Yucatan.
The Hacienda is an ongoing restoration project and the owner devoted a significant amount of his time to educating us about how various striking architectural details of the building and grounds come came to be.
The Hacienda also has a working rabbit farm that supplies its restaurant. We visited the rabbits much to the delight of our small children.
The food at the restaurant was prepared for us with great individual attention, it was delicious and entirely unique in our experience of Mexico.
We took two combined rooms for our family of four, they were spacious and beautifully decorated. The whole place was furnished with local early 20th century hand carved furniture.
The day of our departure, the owner woke up a dawn to feed us before leaving for our flight, and didn't even charged us for the breakfast.

Peaceful place, traditions kept
Liked the hacienda, sits in a small town very close to Merida.
Don Jose, the owner took very good care of us.
The meals very tasteful and the homegrown rabbit made very good and healthy dishes.
A great place to be and make day tours to the very interesting historical places in the Yucatan peninsula.
Full of history and gravitas. Original doors and windows in old hacienda. Brand new bathrooms and a/c. Arches and views and quiet and big trees. Highly recommend. Get it while you can.
