The property is going through some renovations after HI got it. They’re doing a great job though and it was a good stay. The room was clean, the breakfast was excellent. I prepaid the breakfast fee of like $4 and it was well worth it. Staff were very friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

It’s nice to see a reputable hotel chain take over this spot after so many years. This was originally the Mesquite Star, and then vacant for a decade. Then it was a Sports themed hotel for many travel sports teams, (soccer, baseball, etc) and then vacant again for years. Now this IHG Holiday Inn Express has a great restaurant and meeting rooms along with a heated outdoor pool and a ver large and nice exercise room! We came for some warmer temps and to enjoy some SxS riding in the beautiful desert!! We will definitely stay here again!!

The building is under construction, so I understand things are a bit messy and that's fine. The lobby is really nice, big and clean but on the side of the building. The rooms are much older, but are clean and warm. The place is dog friendly and there's good spots for them to do their business and romp around. The breakfast is an additional $10 each per day, which is insane. And it was all cold and not that great to be honest. Terrible coffee, but I did appreciate that they had almond milk out. They have yogurt, fruit, cereal, and juice that is pretty good. They had eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon and french toast but nothing was warm. Also, it's $50 per pet which is a bit wild, but the going rate for the area. I'd stay again, but wouldn't pay extra for the breakfast.
