This was my second time staying at the Lucerna and I chose to return based on my first stay experience which was amazing. The lucerna will be the place I stay every time I visit Mexicali

Lucerna hotel is a little dated and the floors were quite dirty. The AC goes from 0-100 and nothing in between so it’ll get really cold real fast. I recommend this hotel based on its location and its price.

Nos quedamos por una semana. Lamentablemente parecía que el cuarto no lo barrieron y sacudieron apropiadamente, las toallas no estaban totalmente limpias, por lo menos una de ellas no se veía limpia, y eran de muy baja calidad. Además, había construcción en el piso de arriba y a un lado, considero que debieron asignarnos un cuarto donde los ruidos no nos despertaran, y ver por cuántos días nos hospedaríamos.

Excellent stay, staff are bilingual (english/spanish), and very accommodating. The outdoor sitting area, pool and restaurants in the premises made it very convenient for breakfast and dinner. Very safe, and well lit and kept grounds. The only reason for 4-stars instead of 5, was that coffee in the lobby was only for "selected guests in certain buildings" and NOT for all guests. Also first night was noisy because of renovations taking place on a adjacent building, but management promptly moved us to a separate building that was quiet.

Don’t leave valuable personal belongings out.

Location everything was fine nice hotel friendly check in staff. Our first day cleaning staff came in my daughter left a 5 dollar bill out and when we came back it was missing. We called front desk and notified them. It wasn’t the amount of money it was the action. Person in the phone completely brushed it off said they wouldn’t know who had entered the room as the housekeeping manager had left for the day, but there was a camera right out side our room. Again not the amount of money just the action. When checking out they didn’t even ask how everything went or how our stay was.
