The check in fast and simple. The bellhop was very friendly and gave me an overall discription of the property. The room at first but it does need a renovation. The towels and sheets where a bit hummid. In the morning there was a dead cockroach on the floor next to the the nught stand.

The grounds were really nice, the staff was friendly minus the staff in the bar and restaurant. Very disappointed in the service, had enchiladas for dinner and the food was cold and there were chicken bones in my food. Let the staff know and they could care less, then went to the outside bar that was open until 10, it was 7pm and sat there for over 10 mins and nobody showed up to work the bar and help us. Then we went to the piano bar and ordered drinks and nachos, the nachos were horrible with extremely stale chips and just nacho cheese sauce, had to waive down the staff after waiting 20 mins to get drinks. It was very disappointing

Los portales Restaurant seems to not know what service is. I wonder why the missed opportunity. both of our parties had a bad experience. Too long to get drinks, (ice tea and lemonade). way toolong for food. Lack of attention, nobody coming to check on the tables, "hair" in one of our dishes ( and still put the dish charge on the bill). no steak knives for cutting the steak with ??? It seemed like a nice restaurant option and look good in pictures...but it was not worth the price, nor the experience.

The hotel bungalows are very nice. The staff is nice but the lady that checked us in didn’t explain what our room included. She was very serious and not very friendly. The Italian restaurant was delicious.
