My room was not very clean and housekeeping did not clean my bathroom floor or bathtub. Plus, maintenance was hammering away above my room from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am and could not get any sleep. I called the front desk several times but no one ever answered the phone. When I talked to the front desk the next morning, they claimed they were not aware of any noise complaints or ongoing maintenance. The next night, I heard the hammering at 7:30 pm so I decided to investigate. Maintenance was working in the restaurant kitchen late at night. I spoke to the maintenance manager and front desk and told them I would tolerate the noise until 10:00 pm. They eventually stopped the hammering around 10:00 pm.

Emporio was very in a very convenient and extremely walkable. The hotel accommodated our handicap/wheelchair needs. We loved everything about this hotel especially their all you can eat buffet. Will definitely come back to Emporio.

Several things were not working in Emporio's favour when we arrived. Both the hotel's elecators had broken down and my husband and I and our bags had to squeeze into a tiny service lift to get to our room on the eleventh floor. Eventually, one of the lifts became serviceable again, but it took such a long time to move us between floors. Another annoying issue was the room cards would not work to let us into our room after we returned in the evenings. We had to go through the entirely frustrating issue of waiting for the lift to come up to our floor and then take us up again after the cards were reactivated. The airconditioning was also not performing as expected, though the staff were very attentive to our complaints and acted immediately to try to address the problem. They had to bring in a fan eventually. The staff at Emporio, I would say, are the hotel's biggest assets. All of them, from the reception to the maintenance crew to the rearaurant staff, were exceptional in their service. If not for them, Emporio would have nothing extraordinary to offer.

Front Desk staff very Rude. I guess because I am black because he treated the white and Hispanic visitors very Nicely. The hotel is a scam I am charge for two night when I only spend one night.

The staff from the lobby for reservations needs to be more polite and focused with the customers. I had my own experience which they were asking or responding for others customers next to me or crew. Causing delays for check in.
