The Geneve hotel in Mexico City provided a safe and comfortable place to stay during our travel there. This is a place with history and the staff was always there to help with our questions. The property has several restaurants and a nice bar with live music. Hotel Geneve is located in a great neighborhood with many businesses to shop around. I recommend this hotel, and I will book again in the future.

The hotel was a little worn out I think because it gave me the older room. It was a little creepy. It was also missing the iron which I needed conditioner because I ran out from my previous trip. The staff wasn’t so welcoming They just gave us a room key and that’s all. Didn’t even provide details about their services.

The attraction is the hotel and lobby, loved it. The room, it could be upgraded a bit but didn't deter from my stay. AC worked great, glad the floor was wood and not carpet.

The property is very well maintained and conveniently located. Was less enthusiastic about the breakfast buffet and restaurant offerings, which were expensive for the few options available. The bathroom toilet was crazy awkward as well. It was only a couple inches from the bathtub and very hard to use. A big disappointment and not accessible at all.

The lobby was beautiful and that is what this property has going for it. You could tell at one point this hotel was an amazing place to stay, but has since slipped. This hotel is not a luxurious place to stay. Not a terrible place to stay either. I suppose I had high expectations based off pictures. I would not stay here again, beautiful lobby though.

It is a historic hotel and you need to remember that because the amenities will not be same as at home. The rooms need updating. The bathroom sink didn’t drain for hours and the shower pressure was high (which I love) but that made it leave the tub and flood the floor when you showered. All in all, we wanted historic and good location and easy access to transit and that is what we got.

Excellent Choice

Excellent choice for my first trip to Mexico City. Close to a lot. Very safe. Metro is a few blocks away. I have walked or taken the metro and not Ibered yet. Had a wonderful massage at the spa. Live music in the bar with an amazing singer the night I arrived.

Great location, amazing staff, great amenities. The hotel was seriously amazing, strong A/C, friendly staff that helped with luggage and the building itself was seriously stunning. The downstairs bar called phone bar is super cute & classy. The only downside was that there was renovations within the same floor we were staying (4th floor) so the whole floor was very loud due to renovation work but other than that I would 100% stay here again. The rooms were spacious & a lot of good food spots are within walking distance.
