We purchase the hotel and airline package for a relaxing vacation for me and my daughter however we end up in a very unpleasant area as far as the teachers protest at the time of our stay. We got to the area at night and we had to walk for 10 minutes w our suitcases in a unfamiliar area and country to get to our hotel while it’s packed w many tents and when I’m saying many that was not countable. I have pics that I’ll provide you w. Getting a taxi was not easy because someone had to walk you to the area to b picked up. Also taxis didn’t wanna give you a ride back because of that reason so it was a struggle to find one! It was a maze that you had to go through to get to a semi pleasant area. Have to mention that the whole historical area was covered and occupied by all the tents that you have no view of what we were planning on. Main reason to book this hotel was to b able to visit the historic area and … From the lounge was another story that the noises from outside was so loud that we couldn’t enjoy our lounge time. Again I’ll provide you w some more pics. Hotel by itself was beautiful and friendly staff. Mention Abraham who was super friendly and very helpful during our stay.

The hotel itself is beautiful and located in the historic center of Mexico City, which makes a lot of places accessible via walking. The staff were all wicked nice and helpful.

Wonderful location and building. Tiffany ceiling a stand out. The staff was outstanding. They could not do enough for us. Incredibly polite. So glad we stayed in this area and easy to go to Roma, Polanco, museums and historical sites. Easy food choices such as El Cardenal for bfast or lunch. Cafe Taguba for dinner. Other famous restaurants within a short distance. Very safe too!

This hotel is so beautiful! The view from my room of the main square was amazing. When I first arrived the main square was empty, waking up in the morning to the sounds of birds was wonderful, the massive Mexican flag blowing in the wind is an incredible site! Then I got to experience first hand how alive this city is when a peaceful protest started and within hours the streets around the hotel were shut down and the square was full of tents! The hotel had given me plenty of warning and worked to accommodate all guests. At no point did I feel unsafe and honestly it only added to my amazing experience of the city. The staff was always smiling and always there to help and answer any questions I had. Yes, the city centre is very busy and can be a little overwhelming, but being able to return to my hotel room and relax while enjoying the sites and sounds from my balcony was perfect. I would recommend anyone thinking of visiting Mexico City to stay here, spend the extra money and get a room with the Zocalo view!
