When I arrived... the people at the front desk told me that the rate had gone up with apparently no reason. I had already paid for my full stay to Expedia and they ended up charging mi credit card almost 200dls more. I never received any cleaning or top off the towels, nobody ever showed up to clean, yet I still got overcharged. I should get a refund

Great hotel

The Hampton Inn was great. The staff were exceptionally wonderful. The concierge got us tickets for the folkloric ballet and saved us a lot of hassle. They kept food in their refrigerator for us and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The only downsides were that the rooms were dark with no outside windows but we were not there to spend time in our room. And the coffee was not up to the usual Hampton Inn standards, but we found good coffee outside in the streets.

Love this hotel

I always stay at this hotel because it’s nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. Plus everything is a walking distance. If you get bored you can go to the Zocalo to tour around. Airport is a 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic.

Great Hotel in a Great Location

Hotel is in a great, safe, location in the center of historic Mexico City. There is constant security at the entrance which made me feel very safe entering and exiting the property. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be the noise from lobby atrium to my room which was an interior room facing the atrium. As Ironic as it seems, I think a room facing the exterior and away from the atrium would be quieter since the street gets very quiet at night.

Comfortable and Convenient

I looked for a comfortable and clean hotel in El Centro and ths delivered. There are more luxurious hotels I looked at on my walks but in my view not worth the price differential. I would stay here again

It is a very easy walk to the Zocalo; however, the area is way too crowded during the day. At night, it isn’t the safest to walk around. The room we at first stayed in was so small and had a mold smell :/ we ended up changing rooms to a suite and it wasn’t much better. The couch was all ripped up in the suite and both mattresses in each of the rooms were very uncomfortable. The last night, we ended up ordering room service and the attendant was very rude. She accused us of not having enough money to pay because the card machine wasn’t accepting our card. My fiancé ended up going to pay downstairs at the restaurant and it went through just fine. It turns out the WiFi wasn’t allowing the machine to work. We also had to continue fixing our key card because it wasn’t allowing us to open the door to the room. Unfortunately, we won’t stay here again.
