Pros: beautiful 100 year old building. Large rooms. Jaime, the bellman was very, very, helpful. Cons: no a/c in the room but the weather was nice. Beds are very hard. My pet peeve- rooms have carpet.

Recomendable. El hotel tiene un estilo muy bonito que contrasta con los edificios que lo rodean. Tiene un patio en el cual puedes disfrutar de un café o bebida de tu elección al estar en una zona no muy concurrida. El hotel queda cerca de diferentes puntos de transporte para movilidad economica por la ciudad. En la cuestión de las habitaciones cuentan con lo esencial, camas comodas, baño completo y buena regadera. Asi mismo, la comida del hotel es muy rica; si en tu reservación dice que incluye el desayuno, no lo desaproveches y pide los pases en recepción. Hay muchos lugares de comida y algunos bares por el hotel. A 10 minutos esta el tap Guau con buena cerveza.

Breakfast choices were very good. Clean facility and accommodating Staff. Lovely garden and patio. Although well maintained, the room decor seemed a bit dated. Would have really appreciated a smart TV in the room. Limited to only CNN or Fox News for English language television.

My stay at Maria Cristina was quite pleasant. Staff is very kind and attentive. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The WiFi was a bit unstable at times, so something I'd suggest to keep an eye out on. Otherwise I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future. 🙂

Beautiful building in a nice and safe part of town. The building itself is getting a bit old so some lights and shower faucets needs some repairing, but they are fully functional. Service is exceptional. Food is expensive in the restaurant. But it is an expensive hotel, for me at least. Prices you would expect for a Courtyard by Hilton in the US. As are the conveniences. Overall nice experience.

This is a charming old hotel with lots of atmosphere where the staff go out of their way to be as helpful and courteous as possible. I stayed for a total of six nights and was pampered the whole time. I especially liked having a beer in the garden after a long day. of adventures in the city. The garden is so quiet and peaceful it makes you forget you are in the city

This is a great old hotel with friendly staff. It's starting to look a little dreary and needs artwork or color added to walls in the lobby and restaurant to cheer it up. It's very clean and has a grassy, outdoor patio area.
