Did have an issue with check in with a front desk lady, on my second night my key stopped working… when inquiring they said I was checked in incorrectly. My room had some issues, as a solo traveler I brought it up with the front desk. The staff was accommodating. No other major issues. Very comfortable bed and spacious. Overall might stay again.

Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. More like 2.5-3. Did not have basic amenities and towels in our room. Flush plug was not working. Dirt around the edges. Shower stall flooded into the bedroom. Called for towels and it took me 3 times to follow up. Never staying here again. Just very mediocre to bad.

- Great location - Great property, but not 4 star - Hallways show signs of considerable wear and tear - Rooms are fine, but not 4 star - A lobby bar would be great, the restaurant is not vibrant and isn't good for a snack/drink only - Great staff - Due to no lobby bar or casual place for a drink; we were interested in checking out the 'Speakasy' attached to property. We were unable to get in and hotel has no 'pull' (this is unusual in my experiences previously - for example, Rose Bar at Gramercy in NYC) - This feels like more of a 'conference' hotel

Do NOT stay in this property unless you like being up all night listening to loud, pounding music. The rooms are not sound-proofed and it is impossible to sleep at night with the loud music from the adjacent bars. Rooms are a little run down but the water is always nice and hot for a bath. Not the NH Collections standard.

I paid extra to have a specific type of room with a king bed, which when I arrived was not available. They gave me the standard room with two double bed and would not rectify the situation and give me the room I paid for, but also wouldn’t refund the difference I paid

Great property for the value, second time staying. Spent almost two weeks. Slightly frustrating to have to ask, almost daily, for additional or specific towels (face and hand towels). Rooms were a bit dated. Had issues with the AC and TV that were never resolved but were more of an annoyance than a dealbreaker. The neighborhood is excellent, a lot of restaurants and options in a walkable distance. The speakeasy in the hotel is a must experience.

Hotel was pretty nice. Staff was kind and quick to send anything up to the room if needed. Room was fine, no issues other than the shower leaks out water easily. Clean, spacious. Windows are kind of thin so we heard a lot of city noises during the late night/early morning.

Wasn't sure what to expect based on some of the reviews online. It seems like the hotel is undergoing renovation - I think we must have had one of the unrenovated rooms based on the condition. The hallways were looking pretty worn, and on the inside of the room, the bathroom, floors and fixtures were looking their age. The overall comfort of the room was fine - we had two double beds with two pillows apiece (I think 4 is standard?). The sheets had small mystery stains on them, and they were a bit stingy with towels unless requested. The light switches were confusing at first until you figure out that there's a master switch. A note on the noise complaints - we were there for 4 nights and the first two nights were pretty quiet. The last two nights the club was thumping until 3am. Bring earplugs if you're staying over a weekend or request a high floor room. Also, there's a speakeasy bar under the hotel that is quite popular. Not noisy but there are some long lines to get in (make a reservation, the hotel can't help you get in). Overall it was fine for what we paid (as opposed to the high end hotels I've stayed in for work in Polanco, where all of these complaints would have been infuriating instead of shrug-worthy).

This hotel has a lot of potential to be wonderful - and it would have been wonderful but there was no hot water. I know that’s not the fault of the staff…there seems to be a lot of construction but previous reviews have mentioned this, I called and told them and nothing was done. I don’t think anything can be done…I think this hotel truly does not have hot water. If you see this review and decide to stay just know you may or may not be showering with hot water. I sucked it up and did the cold showers (it’s good for you anyways…and used the blow dryer to warm myself up again before getting dressed. Aside from that, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable and clean. As others have mentioned the bathroom design in the shower is horrendous but what can be done now about that. The staff especially the gentlemen who work at the front desk for luggage went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful.

It could work on improvements, make sure the shower soaps, shampoos, etc are always full, ensure all towels are provided without missing any, enough of that, the bellboys are excellent, great breakfast, varying every day and so succulent food, bars are great also, I would recommend this to anyone

The only positive aspect of this property is its location; the rooms look nothing like the pictures. Despite requesting a blanket multiple times, we never received one, nor were we informed that more blankets were unavailable. Our room didn’t even have a bathroom door, which made sharing with friends quite uncomfortable. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again.
