This is a gorgeous hotel in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, and is close to key attractions like the Anthropology Museum and Museo Rufino Tamayo. Our room was beautiful but a tight fit for two people with two large suitcases. Staff was super helpful and was kind enough to put in some work to book us a tour through Casa Pedregal (a must-visit for design lovers). Having a restaurant at the hotel was very helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast that came with our room booking. Quick Uber trips to other great neighbourhoods like Roma Norte.

Disappointed in our stay

I would not recommend staying at this hotel during a trip to CDMX. Unfortunately, our experience here was very disappointing. The rooms are extremely small—my parents kept bumping into each other just trying to get in and out of the bathroom. Our room was also unbearably loud, as it was located next to the kitchen. We were also woken up multiple times throughout the night and early morning by noise from other guests. We didn’t want to leave this review and tried giving the manager a chance to address our concerns by offering a refund or switching our rooms, but they were unwilling to help. It’s unfortunate because the hotel staff is incredibly kind, and this is not their fault. The problem lies with the property itself: the rooms are too cramped, the walls are very thin, and overall, the property seems poorly managed. Ultimately, we had to cut our stay short and switch to another hotel. I cannot recommend this property if you're looking for a comfortable and restful stay.

Awesome experience of a stay in Polanco

The stay was amazing .. in walking distance to the biggest park in Mexico City . Felt very safe walking around in Polanco. Restaurant attached was very good and staff was absolutely great and took care of our every needs. I’ll be booking with Orchid House my next time visiting.

Orchid House is a wonderful small hotel located in Polanco. We loved the beautiful, organic decor - the orchids added not only visual beauty but also an amazing aroma to the property!
