This property denied me to use two rooms together even when I had booked TWO rooms. Then I was locked out in my room, I couldn’t get out!! The phone didn’t work, so I couldn’t call reception to ask them to come and open the door for me. I called from my cell phone and nobody answered, I had to leave a voicemail and sent chats through Expedia NOBODY could help me. By chance through the window I asked another guest to help me out and call reception. I was ready to call the police. Staff only came opened the door said phone wasn’t working and they would try to fix the tv. Obviously they did nothing! The receptionist also got locked in my room when trying to show me there was no issue with the door!! She had to call another employee. In summary, this property is poorly managed, locks don’t work, phone doesn’t work, tv doesn’t work, the room Locked poorly with many holes on the wall, I definitely would never recommend it to anyone. I requested to talk to a manager and I was always denied that to talk to someone. It was a very disappointing experience, Expedia should have higher standards for their customers and more accurate star ratings for their properties.

Some of the rooms in the website doesn’t reflect the rooms. I got a room that did not have windows. The sink was clogged, the shower had drops of water, and the internet did not work. No doubts it was one of the most frustrating bedroom I had in all my trips.

It was ok.
The security guard was excellent! One of the front desk staff was very helpful and allowed us to change rooms on our second night. The first room was a little damp smelling, and it looked like some mold might have been painted over. Housekeeping could do a better job just making sure that there is toilet paper and towels in every room each day.

It was a bitter-sweet situation, the location is excellent, and for the price I was not expecting luxury at all, however I thought the place would be clean and functional, well not at all. The linen looked like it had been used for 100 years, I didn't dare to use the towels at all. And the worse thing was that the bathroom plumbing was clogged. The toilet did overflow at one point. I have to say that management did offered to switch my room to another nearby hotel, this was my last night there so I declined, due to the hustle. I was leaving in the morning anyway. My suggestion to the hotel would be just to fix was is basic, like the plumbing and buy new linen. Invest in some bright color wall paint, and switch the art on the walls for something cheerful, instead of the gore looking faces, they are scary!.

Staff was great, hotel is old, hasn’t been “updated” much, and the stay would had been much better if there was air conditioning. The weather was in the 60’s but the temperature inside the room was extremely high. They provided me with a big fan, which helped, except for the fact that it was very uncomfortable to sleep with the loud noise the fan made. The area is nice and safe, lots of places to eat. The towels were very old and raggedy. My recommendation: bring your own towels, buy some water before you go to your room -no small fridge, no place to get drinks or snack on location-, make sure you can tolerate heat if you stay at this place.
