Beautiful Hotel, with an amazing rooftop bar, & pool. This hotel is only an 8 min walk to the best bar in the world, according to 50 Best Bars, Handshake Speakeasy. The breakfast that was included for free, had the best French Toast I ever had outside of the US. I had a beautiful room, with a view of the Angel of Mexico, but I felt was if the room with the view wasn’t worth it…. The windows of the hotel were so dirty, I couldn’t take a decent picture of the Angle or the city from my room. Save your money, book a room without the view, & just go up to the rooftop at sunset, for great photos, & decent drinks.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in all areas. The rooms had the best layout compared to many other hotels I've stayed at around the world. Staff was attentive and always followed up with concerns. Room amenities were fantastic, extremely clean. Breakfast at Balta was full of choices and again with great service. Bajel was the best restaurant we dined at during our 5 day stay. We also dinned at the 2 star Michelin restaurant Pujol, but Bajel was with no question much better and deserves to get their star.

The room and view for this hotel were good, but the rest was not in the same category as other sofitel properties in latin America, the location was ok only for the angel monument, but polanco is a much better neighborhood to stay in. The staff was super nice except for the staff at the rooftop restaurant, we tried twice to go and were not able to be seated so if you want to see it book with time, hotel guests are not given any preference in seating.

The hotel is pretty average. Location is good. Front desk was bad customer service. Lied about company policy that only 3 people are allowed per room for safety purposes. However, when you book it says sleeps four. My friend messed up on the reservation and only put 2 guest. It really didn’t matter because it wasn’t all inclusive. We tried to upgrade but, we're denied. We had no choice but to book another room. This place is not cheap they could have tried to work with us but didn’t, won’t be going back. The Sheraton will be a better choice.
