The place was super clean and our cleaning service was fabulous. We did not have coffee even though there was a machine and creamer, etc. in the room. We were not sure if it was something we had to ask for. They let us know we had left a few things behind which was kind. However, it is not worth is paying for shipping for their return. The staff were cordial and helpful. The Roma neighborhood where this place is was fabulous for shopping, eating and local flavour and near public transportation. Would highly recommend and will be coming back!

Overall, we had a good stay. Pros: The location was excellent, the price was reasonable, the view was great, and the air conditioning worked well — especially important in the heat. Cons: The main downside was that the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned upon arrival, which was disappointing. With a bit more attention to cleanliness, this would be a fantastic place to stay.

2 people were able to come into the room. Apparently they were given the same room just with a different code to use. Luckily I was in the room. This was a huge safety concern and the front desk treated it like it wasn’t a big issue. They could not provide an explanation on how the room was given to two separate parties. I asked for a new code to be given. In addition, the AC was leaking water. Maintenance did come and fix the issue. Then, the next day the elevators weren’t working. Towels provided looked dirty. I had to ask for a new twice. Overall the property is in a great location. I did enjoy the city view. However, I would not stay there again.

Great location and felt safe. There are cameras in the building and always someone at the front desk. This building was great at communicating the apartment information for a smooth check in and was nice to store my luggage since I had an early arrival. Inside the building it was quiet, however you can hear the outside loud noise of the city which is common in this area. There are many things to do in the area that are walkable. Easy area to get picked up or dropped by uber. Apartment was just like shown on the photos and exceeded the expectations. The view from the balcony to the city was so beautiful. Modern apartment look inside and looks like this is a newly build apartments. Super happy I chose this place and would again!

ULIV Mexico City – Disappointing Experience

I recently stayed at ULIV in Mexico City. While the location is excellent — walkable to great restaurants, cafes, and key attractions — the overall experience was disappointing due to poor service and cleanliness. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The floors were sticky and clearly not mopped, the shower had stains on the walls, and the towels were old and stained. I had to repeatedly ask for fresh towels and clean sheets, as housekeeping did not refresh them on their own. Housekeeping was consistently careless and ineffective. Service was equally problematic. Communication with the staff was poor, and they accidentally changed my room access password without notifying me, leaving me locked out for over an hour with no clear explanation or apology. The elevators were extremely slow, adding to daily frustrations. The shower water rarely stayed hot for more than a few minutes, which made mornings even more uncomfortable. Despite the great location, these service failures made the stay far from enjoyable. I would not recommend ULIV to other travelers.
