It’s a nice boutique style hotel. Staff was polite. We had an issue with out bathroom toilet as soon as we settled into our room but they moved us to another room right away. We will come back.

The beacon hotel provided a very disappointing stay while we were in south beach. The hotel itself was in disrepair, paint peeling, stains, significant deferred maintenance. Our room was unacceptable, the faucets didn’t work, the bathroom had bad mold, the hot water took more than 10 minutes to come on. The front desk staff was very unwelcoming and disorganized. I want to recognize the bell boy, he was very helpful.

I had an amazing experience at the hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to the wonderful receptionist at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. Her professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail were truly impressive. She handled the check-in process smoothly, answered all my questions patiently, and even offered helpful local tips that made my stay even more enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to excellent service, and she truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. There is no parking available for the property and it was impossible to find anything close by to park overnight. The building was run down. Construction in the middle of the lobby and the carpets were disgusting, looked like they weren't vacuumed in weeks. Rooms are very basic, scuffs all on the walls. My room specifically had no view as it just looked at a white brick wall. Only positives were that it was walking distance to the beach and downtown Miami, the air conditioning worked well and the staff were very kind. The photos made the hotel appear a lot nicer than what it really was. It was overpriced in my opinion.

The hotel is experiencing a disaster the way it was advertiser on the internet is not the way when you get to the property. The bathrooms need to update black things on the wall & around the tub. The tub is mildew. The room is a box

We called the Hotel about a week before our stay to inform them that we would be able to make it because American Airlines canceled our flight twice to come out there. My wife and I were supposed to fly out there and then go on a cruise for her birthday and mother's day and then after the cruise go stay at this hotel (Beacon Hotel) in Miami. But it was canceled due to no fault of ours. We called them on May 17th to explain our situation, and spoke a rep who said, no problem, just email the supervisor manager, Alexandra, which we did, but we never heard anything from them. We recently called the Hotel back to inquire about our refund and they said they could not refund us that "they couldn't do that". When we asked to speak to a manger, the rep said there is no manager. Listen, don't stay at this Hotel (Beacon Hotel), they are the worst! They are unaccommodating and not customer service oriented. We just want our money back that's all, it's just fair and right, but they don't want to do the right thing! The staff and representatives we dealt with were incomprehensible and uncompassionate.
