Simple hotel nice and quiet and clean no special amenities, they do have a pool and it’s heated, a little gym , self parking for $40.00 a day tax resort fee on parking too, not including in the room resort fee

Great beach location, convenient to walk to some restaurants and shops, close to south beach, trolley access. Hotel is dated, could use a renovation. Pool bar prices were decent compared to other hotel bars/restaurants for drinks.

Pros and Cons

We didn't come in with high expectations. We booked this hotel for it's location and price. Location is excellent, right on the beach. They include lounge chair and umbrella rental with your stay. The hotel is run down and service was slow. There were several times when we asked for towels or coffee and no one came. We were willing to pick up these items from the front desk but they didn't have any in stock. Housekeeping staff seemed to be overworked and lacked adequate supplies. (They were friendly but often didn't seem to have what they needed to replenish rooms.) The issues are something that needs to be addressed at the corporate level.

This was a very disappointing trip. All staff were not friendly and willing to accommodate any guests. A few things that had happened: 1. Was not able to check in before 4pm, apparently there was not one room available. At 4pm we went to check in and there was still not a room available. We had to wait until 4:35pm (last checkin time) 2. The day after we arrived, we were told we were a no show yesterday as they were confused why and how we had keys. We had to interrupt our vacation to go downstairs. It was after we asked them to pull our paperwork that was signed to prove we had checked in properly. Where we were told, we were in a room that wasn’t even supposed to be ours. We knew this because we originally booked an ocean view and was told that would be an upgrade so we declined it. 3. Our room was not cleaned at all the second day. 4. The third day our room was cleaned after 4pm, which was making the beds, garbage bins were not taken out and towels were not given. We asked the maid for some in the hallway and was told 5 minutes. After 30 minutes, we went down to the front desk to get some and was told they didn’t have any clean ones and they would bring some up when they did. An hour later, we received a knock on the door with one towel. (We had asked for two) I have never experienced this treatment and also never witnessed so many unhappy guests in the lobby at all times.
