Clean but moist.
Hotel was clean, friendly staff however the room was moist-carpet felt wet, sweater hung on back of a chair felt wet/moist in the morning, room had an odd smell (most likely due to moistness of room). Beds, linens bath towels were all clean and comfortable. Room not updated with phone charging options. Hotel was close to University of Miami, beaches and shopping areas.

We liked the overall condition of the property. It was well maintained and our room was nice. We also liked that the hotel offered a shuttle service to and from the airport and to the cruise port. That saved us pennies. The above was marred by the lack of service and concern showed to my sister. She had a fall in the tub and she hit her mouth on the tub and broke a tooth. Being a visitor to Miami we didn’t know any dentist in the area and we therefore sought assistance from the front desk staff who casually told us to google the information. They didnt waste any time though in calling the ambulance to have her checked out as part of their policy. They seemed more concerned about their liability than my sister’s condition and pretty much said “we’re just front desk clerks.” The ambulance EMTs were more helpful, at least two of them got on their phones and searched for dentist in the area. One even recommended his personal dentist. The only reason we returned to this hotel after the cruise was because we had sent several packages prior. Thankfully we met other staff on duty who were very helpful and attentive. Great hotel but some need training. There is nothing worst than having a medical emergency in a foreign country
