The area had construction on all fronts. Charged for resort fees when we could not even use any of the facilities due to rain and wind, and when the weather was better, no one manned the beach chair post.

I love this property because of how old it is. They are remodeling but its still super old. Scarface times, the original Miami Beach. Its nostalgic!

This hotel is on the beach 50 yards from there entracnce the staff are nice very nice they treat you likr family as soon as you walk threw the door you habe resturants stores and shoping all on tbere strip .. book here and they have cheap rates there room looks like tgere photos no tricks here

I booked this terrible place for 5 nights because the online photographs deceived me. I checked out the next morning. I checked in on the 2nd of September super late, after 10 p.m., because of my flight. The next morning, which was the 3rd of September, I checked out. No refund was approved by the manager of the Broadmoor Motel (not hotel). Expedia kept my booking as current on my profile even though I rebooked a hotel the very next day. The hotel itself doesn’t look like the pictures; it is very much run down, with a stinky (week and cigarettes smell) hallway. They even have a security guard who was busy cutting his nails on the couch. The internet speed is so slow it is impossible to use, and the elevator is slower than the internet speed—stairs are faster. The area around the hotel is sketchy and not safe to walk around at night. There is no nightlife in that neighborhood. The experience of one night was unpleasant and shocking. I am fighting for a refund for the 4 nights that I left, but they choose to keep it in a pretend mode that the booking was current. I say if you respect yourself and want a Miami experience, avoid the Broadmoor at all costs.

The staff at check in was not friendly at all. He seemed like he was doing us a favor. The added $20 dollar fees were not communicated earlier or shown when reserving. The hotel itself was absolutely the worst I have ever been in. The elevator was extremely slow, literally taking minutes to go up a floor. The room was small. The towels were old and rugged. The shower was leaking water through the door. The bed was uncomfortable. The bed covers were old and smelly. The stairways were disgusting. No paid parking. Everything about this place was incredibly frustrating and terrible. Will never ever come here if you pay me.

Good location if they were not doing construction. The pictures are very deceiving, hotel is very run down. Staff were not very polite or helpful. Had money taken from our rooms while we were at the beach. Were told we should have used the safe that we did not have in our room, but if we did they don’t work anyways. Great trip, bad place to stay!
