When we arrived the hotel was out of power, we spend the night withou A/C or light. I really want my money back. No one talked with us or even offered anything as a compensation.

First day at hotel my bank card was swiped twice for 800 hold. When asked to have it reversed they said that they changed machines it was a mistake but couldn’t reverse the money until checkout. I was short 800 during trip. Last night at property there was a power outage and we slept in in sauna room with mosquito. When I spoke to manager he compared the hotel To an airline. I was still charged 96 for resort fee when there isn’t even a pool or gym at this hotel. Umbrella and towels doesn’t label this as a resort. The manager should’ve removed the resort fee completely instead of givin me a discount. Honestly very disappointed with the price per night quoted on Expedia versus everything I ended up paying.

This is a historic property. It is very Mediterranean looking and very quaint. Although everything has been updated, it was done in good taste. The best thing about it is that it is right across the street from the beach. It was a unique experience. Will definitely do it again.

We were in love with the decor, the smell and the look of the hotel. Absolutely loved it. Loved the bedroom as well. Only problem is there was absolutely no sound insulation with the adjoining room; the people speaking were literally in our bed. Also, before going, we thought we’d have access to the beach club of the Faena hotel but that was not the case. We used the valet parking which works out great.

Older hotel, but the rooms were very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the manager was also invaluable. The restaurant is very good with an excellent happy hour and delicious food. The bartender was also fantastic and did a wonderful job
