Hallways smelled like cigarettes. Check in lady was not friendly. The rooms felt dirty it was definitely not a pleasant stay. I stayed there because my flight was canceled and that’s the only hotel I could find

Pool was closed due to construction, no mention on the website. Booked room thinking we had complimentary breakfast but found out after we went for breakfast that it was only on select rooms for a fee, shuttle passed us 3 times at the airport & wouldn’t stop, had to Uber to the hotel, complained to the staff about it & their solution was 2 complimentary bottles of water. Staff was not friendly or helpful by any means, no convenience store on site, lounge was only open at select times. Will NEVER stay there again! Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in a very, very long time!!!

This hotel is perfect. I stayed there on 21st July 2024 for 1 night after My Cruise. It was amazing. Clean, staff was friendly, there’s dining options around the Hotel. Very close to the airport and complementary shuttle to the airport. Highly recommend.

Close to the maimi airport, good distance from tourist areas. The room was nice, but the batheroom has no ventilation, the shower head was great. There was lots of noises the 2 days my partner and I stayed. Banging and scratching noises which i assume was from construction, but was never informed. The pool was closed the entire stay.

Recent Stay - July 2024
There was an issue with the air conditioning system where the thermostat changes were not being recognized by the system. So the only way to adjust the room temperature was for me to turn off the entire system which then became unfortunately warm during the night, requiring me to turn it back on and it becoming too come again…. The bathroom upkeep could had been done much better as there was evident sign of rust and dead spiders in the tub area and excessive and poorly applied caulking around the toilet base. On my first night I noticed that the water was draining excessively slow in the tub drain. After removing the tub drain stopper, i had to request a maintenance staff to remove excessive (a hand full) of hair from the bathtub drain. For paying extra for my room type, I expected a more appealing feel. I understand that renovations are taking place and I am hoping that the above points will be addressed as part of that process. The staff were friendly and welcoming which is reminiscent of my Crowne Plaza experience prior to Sonesta taking over that resort.

The representative that checked us in was wonderful. He was very nice and polite. The room wasn’t what I anticipated. The water in the shower would fill up in the bathtub. The air conditioner did work well. I was miserable the entire night.

Could've been better...
The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great. Most of the staff was nice. There were a few that came off as crass/rude. Such as, "I already told you that!" or "Ugh, just press the call button.". Also, while we appreciate the breakfast, the waffles were hard and one of the days the orang juice had a fizzy taste to it. We let the staff know, but nothing was done about it. We also think the price for parking is too much and $50/day for incidentals is abusive.
