Where are the employees?
I don’t think I saw an employee my whole stay. This was art basel weekend and their restaurant and bar was always closed. Couldn’t find someone to store my luggage. No one ever came to clean the room, luckily was only there for two nights. Hotel was nice but needs some help.

I had another room nearby that was not satisfactory so this place was a great last minute find! Very clean and pleasant vibe. Exactly what I was looking for. Peaceful, classy and easy.

Very complicated
No check in email received and could not enter the hotel. Very complicated procedure. Got locked out of my room since I checked out 10 minutes late. There is no pool, its just a frigid kids wading pool. There is no coffee or amenities. It's still under construction since 2021. Name changed from kayak hotel Miami Beach

Let’s start with the hotel has great potential. They are apparently in a renovation period of the facility. Rooms, lobby, and outside areas have been updated. However it was not mentioned that the hotel is still undergoing renovations. There were several things still under renovation and needing updating. The room itself was very nice. You could tell the sheets were new (never washed and felt rough) and the mattress and pillows weren’t comfortable. Overall I’d be happy to see how the place really turns out!

The room smelled of mildew. AC wasn’t working the first night. Toilet wasn’t flushing properly. My clothes smelled bad days after just two nights from the room. No staff that could help with the room on site. Was told they only clean room at checkout despite saying daily cleaning on booking site. I was busy doing things during the day and didn’t have time to change the room. Doubt the smell would have been any different though. Entrance area also smelled strong of mildew. Couldn’t get into the place first night with the code they provided. Finally they had to leave the entrance door open.
