Superb location. Had an upgrade with the VIP program but room was not very big compared to other hotel rooms in the area, it is good for a stay of max 3 nights. The hotel is bit crowded during the weekends due to traffick in the elevators that are the same going to the restaurants and rooftop.

Very modern and high tech hotel.
East Miami is a very smart, modern hotel right in the heart of downtown Miami. It is very high tech with all controls from light switches to guest services run through mini ipads and control panels. The lifts are ordered using your room key and you can also order a room clean for a specific time. Like most of Miami, the food and drinks are relatively expensive but good. The pool area is very high end. Receptionist tried to upgrade me on arrival, which would have doubled my costs for 5 nights, so I declined, So watch out for that. There were no hidden charges or fees though unlike other hotels in and around South Beach.
