Check in was terrible..we were early having gotten off a cruise ship..knew we would have to wait for our room but watched people come in and receive their keys prior to check in..kept asking if our room was ready and they told us no not till 4...said they would send us a text..never received a text..attitude of the desk clerks needs improvement..tried to sign on to their "feee wifi" and it kept asking me to pick a plan for $$$..what happened to free? Went downstairs to ask a simple question of the clerk and she told me i had to go to the back of the line of 20 people...she was extremely rude..said she wouldnt help me and raised her voice. telling me go to the back of thebline..told her again i was a checked in guest with a minor problem..she ignored me.i then asked to speak to the manager on duty ..she said fine wait over there..then proceeded to call the next person inline before going to get the mgr...if she is going to bein customer service she needs to change her attitude for sure..mgr helped me in 2 sec i had my answer..the clerk could have done the same but she didnt..seems as if a checked in guest is not a priority if they need help..they have your money so go to the end of the line..I'll think twice about booking this hotel in the future.

The front desk clerk was not friendly and rather direct and unhelpful she also gave incorrect information. However Christopher was awesome very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable!

First time for a few years
We stayed at Embassy Suites for the first time since Covid 19. Our previous visits to the USA included stays at Embassy Suites in LAX, San Fran, Boston New York and San Diego. All were of a good standard and value for money which added to our surprise at this stay…how it has changed now from the courtesy drinks only being a max of two, being at a separate bar, the breakfast service has definitely been reduced in quality and the queuing does not add to a great experience one of which we have not previously experienced. It seems Embassy Suites has reduced its costs over those recent years to the detriment of quality of their product and their previous reputation. I find myself thinking in future when looking to book an airport hotel at looking at other choices rather than making Embassy Suites a first choice as I did in the past.
