We recently stayed at the Fontainebleau and had a mostly great experience. The hotel is stunning, with excellent facilities and a generally warm and welcoming staff. From the beach to the pool, everyone—from towel attendants to waitstaff—was friendly, professional, and helpful. However, two issues really stood out during our stay. First, the food and drink prices at the hotel are outrageously high. A $10 latte and $18 fruit salad felt excessive, especially with no nearby alternatives—there’s not even a Starbucks within walking distance. It came across as price gouging, knowing guests don’t have many options for breakfast. The more serious issue happened on our last day. We brought fruit from CVS to the pool and were stopped by a staff member at the entrance who told us we couldn’t bring it in. While we understood she was just enforcing the rules, we explained that we’d seen plenty of guests with outside food—some even receiving Uber Eats deliveries. Still, she refused to let us in with it, so we ate in the hotel lobby instead. When we returned to the pool afterward, she checked our bags, which already felt a bit much. But later, after we came back from the beach, she recognized us and proceeded to check our bags again. Then she told us our wristbands were from the day before, even though we had received them at check-in and no one else had questioned them. Her attitude throughout was rude, accusatory, and completely out of line.

I stayed here in May and June 2025 with my husband for a couples trip. The staff was exceptional. The dining options were exceptional. We had an upgraded king suite, the bathroom was huge and the room was great. The pool is super fun popping music. You have the option to do a beach day where they have rentable umbrellas, and the service out there is impeccable as well. We went out one night to live nightclub. It was expensive, but totally worth it. I would stay at Fontainebleau again and we cannot wait to come back. Spa fantastic too. Couple in our late 40s from Canada.

Beautiful property. Some long wait times at times at pool area and needs more signage on how to navigate the property. Polite and friendly staff. My thing to change would be the ability to request type of soda in room. They have Pepsi so I asked if they could stock Diet Pepsi instead, should have been easy but i was told no.

When checking in check in staff wasn’t too welcoming. Check out person was great she was friendly and attentive. Other staff at restaurants, pools, and bars were great as well. Ice machine on the 10th floor wasn’t working had to go to the 9th which wasn’t too big of a deal but for a nice hotel why was the ceiling above the ice machines broken down and moldy looking.
