I booked this property and paid in full 2 weeks before arrival. After getting off plane, husband and i went to check in only for them to tell me they over booked. How when i paid in advance? It was 11:45pm. They Pressly literally told us they have a sister hotel that they were putting us in like 10 min walking distance. We had to walk with all our luggage to this hotel.(freehand was the name i think) Once we got there they put us in an outside apartment with bunk beds. No phone nor tv. It was like being in the desert. We literally slept with same clothes on that we wore on flight. That's how the room made us feel. We heard club music all night, dumpster being opened and closed, animals etc. We pulled the table up against the door. That's how unsafe it felt. I highly recommend that you NEVER book this hotel not freehand!

This is a roach infested hostel, not a hotel. This is advertised online as a kid friendly, family friendly hotel with excellent ratings. This is the grossest place I’ve ever stayed. The photos are very deceiving. I looked at them again just now after being all over this place. While looking at the photos, my child yelled roach and pointed to the wall right near my head. A roach was crawling up the wall right near my head. I’m grossed out and don’t want to sleep here tonight. There isn’t a tv in the room. There were no towels when we arrived in the room. The only positive thing I can say is that the breakfast was good and reasonable although I will not be eating it tomorrow. I can only imagine the roaches in the kitchen. We saw a roach last night when we first arrived in the room. Was too late and tired to move last night as it was almost midnight. Tried to check out this morning and asked to get a refund for the unused night. The front desk told me I can check out but would still have to pay for the unused night. Called Travelocity twice today and they couldn’t get in touch with the hotel. This place has to be the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I’ll also never trust hotel reviews again. This experience proves that they are fake. This is not as advertised and no way it gets excellent ratings.

What struck me the most was the festive atmosphere in the lobby as soon as you entered. The check-in and process were incredibly smooth and quick, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

Extremely clean rooms. They lend towels to be used by the warm pool. Good food at the Pikio Tacos with 10% discount. I'd definitely stay here again.
