Stayed one night following a late flight. Hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle service til 11pm, but you must call the hotel on arrival to arrange pickup. Check-in was straightforward. Regrettably they had run out of the room type I had booked (Kingsize) but offered a perfectly acceptable alternative (Twin Queensize). Self-serve breakfast had a fair selection of cereals, pastries, hot options (pancakes with sausage patties, scrambled eggs, waffles, omlette) and a selection of juices. Hotel offered a cruise shuttle to PortMiami for $20, which are available at 10:30 or 12:30 and takes around 30mins. Check-out was equally straightforward. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Hotel interior is a bit dated, but the rooms were large and the aircon worked, so perfectly fine for my needs.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn Airport West. The location is unbeatable and the staff was beyond friendly. The breakfast could not be beaten and we were in want of nothing. I will DEFINITELY be staying here again! Thank you Hampton Inn!

We arrived late at night. Was advised the shuttle would be 20 minutes to arrive, it took over 40. The front desk was kind of rude. Asked in the morning for late checkout, as we were stuck due to flight delays and decided to stay somewhere nicer. Was advised it was 25$ an hour. Left for our new hotel, where they were able to accommodate us earlier with extra fees.

Karel Castillo “manager” tried to take advantage of my elderly Asian family during checkout. He claimed they had a balance of $200 to settle when everything had already been taken care of through Expedia. When my mother called me because she felt something was off I questioned what the balance was for he could not answer me he went into his office and ignored me. He then came out with a fake receipt with a different name than my family’s. When that was pointed out to him he crumpled the paper and threw it in the trash. He then put his finger over his mouth to tell my family to keep quiet and he went back into his office. A different employee then told tell us we didn’t need to pay anything all of a sudden.
